Benjamin Lacy letters, 1858, 1919.

Three letters (two with transcriptions) from 1858 describe Lacy's work on a surveying crew near Ottertail City (Minn.) and in the Red River Valley, as well as the first meeting of the Minnesota legislature and Governor Henry H. Sibley's inaugural address. The 1919 correspondence discusses these letters.
